1. Using BuildX Means You Agree
By using BuildX — the cost calculators, the AI chat, the contractor matching, any of it — you're agreeing to these terms. If something here doesn't work for you, don't use the platform. That's the deal.
2. What BuildX Actually Is
BuildX is a construction cost intelligence platform. We give property owners, investors, and project managers AI-powered cost estimates, access to over 2,000 location-based cost calculators, and a way to connect with local contractors. We're a research and matching tool. We're not a general contractor, we don't manage your project, and we're not a party to any agreement you make with a contractor you find here.
3. Your Account
If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your login. Give us accurate information when you sign up. If something looks wrong on your account, tell us immediately at legal@buildx.pro.
4. How You're Expected to Use This
Use BuildX for legitimate construction research and contractor outreach. Don't use it to scrape data, spam contractors, submit fake leads, or do anything that would get you thrown off a real job site. Don't attempt to access systems or data you're not authorized to access. Violations may result in account termination.
5. Contractors Are Independent
The contractors in our network are independent businesses. BuildX doesn't employ them, doesn't supervise their work, and doesn't guarantee the quality of what they build. When you hire a contractor through a lead you submitted here, that's a direct relationship between you and them. Any disputes go through them, not us.
6. Cost Estimates Are Estimates
Our AI-generated cost estimates and calculator outputs are based on regional data and industry averages. They're meant to give you a realistic ballpark before you talk to a contractor, not a binding quote. Actual project costs depend on site conditions, material choices, labor markets, and a dozen other variables. Always get a written quote from a licensed contractor before committing to a project budget.
7. Limitation of Liability
BuildX is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on cost estimates, contractor matching results, or AI-generated content. Use the platform as a starting point, not a final answer.
8. We May Update These Terms
We'll update these terms when the platform changes in ways that matter legally. If you keep using BuildX after an update, you're accepting the new terms. The date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
